Abdulkarim Oloyede is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Telecommunication at the University of Ilorin and an ALAC councilor.
Career History edit
Oloyede teaches modules on Internet Protocols, Cybersecurity, Internet Governance, Networking and DNS at the University of Ilorin. As a post-doctoral researcher for the University of York, he is also working on broadband deployment strategies for developing countries and emergency situations. In particular, Oloyede is researching how the High Altitude Platform (HAP) can solve telecommunication problems in Africa.

Oloyede has been a member of the RSSAC Caucus, CPWG, and ATLAS III Leadership team. He is currently an ALAC councilor, representing AFRALO.
