In February 2012, it has been reported that Future Spirits is one of the four companies approved by the Osaka Prefecture to apply for the .osaka geographical TLD with ICANN's New gTLD Program. It is not clear if Future Spirits will submit its application independently or if it will partner with BusinessRalliart, Interlink and GMO Registry to operate the proposed .osaka registry. [2]
