.accountant is a top level domain name (TLD) proposed to ICAnn's New gTLD Program. Famous Four Media through (dot Accountant Limited) filed its application to the internet governing body to seek approval for the inclusion of the TLD to the root zone of the internet domain name system (DNS). [1]

This is one of the 61 domain name strings filed by the company to ICANN. Mr. Geir Andreas Rasmussen, CEO of the company is the main contact person in the application. Neustar has been selected to provide back-end registry services. [2]
