Career

Reyes started as Policy Analyst for ICANN in 2012. He provides support to the global, multistakeholder policy development community.[1][2] Reyes works with the ALAC, ASO, GNSO, RSSAC, and SSAC.[1]

Previously, Reyes worked as an associate at Impacto Group LLC, a strategic communications and consulting firm focusing on the emerging power of the Hispanic community in the United States. Reyes was also a regular contributor to The Wall Street Journal’s “Hire Education” blog from 2010 to 2011. Before moving to Washington, D.C., Reyes spent two years as a member of the Youth and Education Commission in his hometown of Phoenix, AZ.

Service

Reyes is an active citizen diplomat. Reyes is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Young Americans for Diplomatic Leadership (YADL). YADL empowers young leaders through global programs that provide access and exposure to international relations. From 2008 to 2013, Reyes served as a member of the board of directors of Sister Cities International, a not-for-profit organization representing a grassroots network of 600 cities and 2,000 global partnerships.

Education

Reyes graduated from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in May 2011.

Fun Facts

A first-generation American, Reyes is fluent in English, French, and Spanish. He enjoys traveling, exploring museums, and supporting the fine arts and equality causes in his spare time.
