.guide is a proposed new TLD in ICANN's New gTLD Program. The string originally had two applicants, Donuts and Top Level Domain Holdings, though the former won the rights to the string in a private auction held in August 2013 by Innovative Auctions. The total amount was not disclosed though the 8 total auctions that were cumulatively valued at $9.65 million.[1]
Contract Signed[edit | edit source]
On 13 September 2013, Donuts received a Registry Agreement signed by ICANN for .guide after passing the Initial Evaluation.[2]
