ICANN 18 was the first event to be held in Tunisia |
ICANN 18 took place in Carthage, Tunisia, and was to be the first ICANN event held in this part of the world. The event lasted for five days and was seen as a very successful event to the organizers.
Key developments[edit | edit source]
Several Topics were discussed throughout the Event, which had taken the form of many different meetings. Some of the meetings that took place included information on the ICANN website redesign, a governmental advisory committee meeting and also a meeting on all Top level Domains, to discuss any problems in any of these areas.
All people interested, were invited to attend the meetings, although pre-registration was advised to ensure the space was available to attend. A new election of ICANN officers was also scheduled to take place in this event, and did so in the final board meeting of ICANN 18.
