- Online and in-person attendance registration for RIPE 85 is now open. The conference will take place in Belgrade, Serbia from October 25 through 28.
- On July 25, the ICANN Board moved the discussion on closed generics forward, proposing Melissa Peters Allgood, the Conflict Resolution Specialist on ICANN Organization's Policy Development Support team, serve as the facilitator for the Governmental Advisory Committee/GNSO Council dialogue on Closed Generics.
- On July 13, ICANN announced registration for ICANN 75 Annual General Meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is open. ICANN 75 will be a hybrid event from 17–22 September 2022.
