Michele Neylon is founder and managing director of Blacknight Internet Solutions Ltd. He manages browse.ie, search.ie and IWF. He actively participates in ICANN and GNSO groups. [1]
Education
- He did MSc. In Multimedia Technology from the University College Cork.
- He completed BA in European Studies from University of Limerick in 1998.
- He studied from Midleton College.
Career History
- He was an EFL Instructor at Caledonian Communications from July 2002 — August 2003.
- He taught at Cork Language Centre from 1998 — 2001.
- He worked at eurodisney from 1992-1994 in various positions.
Awards
Michele has frequently been considered for awards from the Irish Internet Association Net Visionary Awards. In 2005 & 2006 he was shortlisted in the Internet Entrepreneur category, and was also shortlisted for Best blogger in 2006. In 2008 he was shortlisted for, and won, IIA Net Visionary Awards for Best Blogger and Internet Marketer; that year he was also shortlisted for Internet Entrepreneur. He won the IIA Net Visionary Award for Best Use of Social Media in 2010.
He was awarded the Best Business Blog in 2009 by The Irish Blog Awards.[2]
