Diakite worked at ICANN for over 10 years. From 2013 to 2016, he was a Business Intelligence Senior Analyst at ICANN, where he was responsible for helping the organization measure its performance and model its execution of strategic and operational decisions.[1]Diakite first joined ICANN as a Financial Analyst in December 2006, when he was responsible for forecasting, financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.[2]

In January 2016, Diakite started working as Director Of Operations for Geotek, leaving the company in December, 2018.

In January 2019, he became Executive Director for SMARTEK SOLUTIONS. In January 2022, he started as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) for SI MINING.[1]

Diakite holds a Master's degree in International Business and Finance from the University of Aix-Marseille in France.
