Alfredo Pinochet is a business development executive for new technologies and the internet in Latin America. He is the president and founder of LatinTLD.com; which specializes in domain-related activities for Latin America and the Caribbean. He is also the owner of UF.cl, UTM.cl, and IPC.cl, all of which specialize in Chilean financial information. His prior work experience includes other work with TLDs, IT work, and the development of the first web-based Latin American daily finance newspaper.[1]

His education culminated in an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, and Man-Machine Interfaces from Hiroshima University; and also included intensive language courses in Japanese.[1]
