From 1997 to 1999, he worked as Web Developer for Internet2, a non-profit advanced networking consortium dedicated to developing new technologies such as middleware, security, network research and performance measurement capabilities that are significant in the growth of internet applications.[2]
Education
Alvarez received his Juris Degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 2002. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree with majors in Foreign Service and Information Warfare from Georgetown University, Washington, DC in 1999. He also studied law the University of Paris II (Panthéon-Assas) in 2001 as an Erasmus scholar and at the University of Havana, Cuba, war at the University of London (King's College), and economics at the London School of Economics. Alvarez is admitted in the State Bars of Washington and California (inactive).[3][1] He speaks Spanish and French.
