Alvaro Alvarez is a lawyer specializing in commercial litigation, intellectual property, venture capital, merger, securities regulation, corporate governance, private equity, patents, international law, immigration, legal research and licensing. Alvarez received his Juris Degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 2002. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree with majors in Foreign Service and Information Warfare from Georgetown University, Washington, DC in 1999. He also studied law the University of Paris II (Panthéon-Assas) in 2001 as Erasmus scholar and at the University of Havana, Cuba, war at the University of London (King's College), and economics at the London School of Economics. Alvarez is admitted in the State Bars of Washington and California (inactive). He speaks Spanish and French.
