Amata Kabua II is a Systems Administrator at the Marshall Islands National Telecommunications Authority, where he has worked since October 2013. The organization is the only ISP on the island which services all inhabited islands with phone, cell, internet, and TV services. Kabua's current responsibilities include building network monitoring systems, installing and testing devices, deploying our voip services, and providing tech support to our business partners and government offices.[1][2]

ICANN 51 in Los Angeles was his first ICANN Meeting.[2]

Amongst his proudest life achievements, he lists being a father and his job, as he believes that "whenever you have a job that you genuinely enjoy and do not view it as work, then that is an achievement in itself." His short-term goals include spreading the ICANN vision; his long-term goals include being a contributor to the ICANN movement, both directly and indirectly.[2]
