The Information and Communication Technology on Local Content (ICTLOCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the development and use of locally sourced Information and Communication Technology (ICT) goods and services in Nigeria.[1] It is the association responsible for the advocacy, promotion, and protection of the interest of local ICT Practitioners, enforcement and implementation of the NOGICD Act and other local content policies of the government that should be developed on the use of and deployment of indigenous information Communication Technology products and services in the oil and gas, and another sector of our economy.
The huge investment opportunities existing across the sector for Nigerians are enormous; We (ICTLOCA) are positioned to ensure that local ICT practitioners can provide the statutory percentage of ICT goods and services to curb capital flight and promote the maxim of the Technology Fair Managers, Local Content Diplomats that Nigeria should be first on the minds of government, businesses, organizations, forums, association’s and its people. Nigeria should always be first among all other avenues.
Our Objectives 100% Information Access To promote access to information on the provisions of NOGICD Act on ICT contracts in the O & G sector that must be awarded to Nigerians; Access to ICT contracts and information on the modalities for accessing ICT contracts in the across Sector and registering on NCDMB Joint Qualification System (JQS) the platform for individuals and organizations seeking to provide goods and services in the Oil and Gas sector;
Member's Professional Development Access to valuable information on professional development using such avenues as conferences, seminars, training, and certifications for ICT practitioners in the across the sector.
