Career History
Previously he has worked as the Founder/Board Member at Digital Convergence Initiative, President/CEO at Salsa.Net, Technical Evangelist at Mind Science Foundation, Director of Business Development at First Dominion Financial, Ltd and Director of Network Services at JonRuCo.[2]
McCall is a board member of South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive Conference, and has added a digital convergence and mobile technology dimension to the international event.[3] He is also a board member or advisor for the following community organizations: the Rice Alliance for Technology & Entrepreneurship, University of Texas – San Antonio Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, San Antonio Technology Center, and the Digital Convergence Initiative (DCI); as well as the following privately-held companies: Armida Technologies, Blog Catalog, FootballersFC, and Knowbility.[4]
Education
He received his B.A. in English and Photocommunications from Texas Tech University. He then did some post-graduate work in Computer Science at Texas Tech.[5]
