Services[edit | edit source]
Security and protection[edit | edit source]
Diversinet offers a proven and patented secure application platform that allows healthcare organizations to deploy mHealth, or HIPAA-compliant mobile healthcare applications, rapidly to anyone, anywhere, anytime on their mobile phone devices.[2]
The company also provides mobile applications powered by end-to-end MobiSecure® platform, which ensures easy and secure connection among users to keep them updated with payers, providers and healthcare information. The platform has enabled the healthcare sector to rapidly meet demands for convenient, on-the-move storage, as well as safe and personal health data sharing. The application is supported by all major operating systems.[3]
The MobiSecure platform is compliant with the authentication standards of Open AuTHentication (OATH) and was mainly targeted to prevent confidential data infringement. The company has its own encryption architecture, with which the platform securely connects the users with the critical healthcare information while protecting them against identity fraud or theft.
Authentication[edit | edit source]
The company also has authentication solutions for securing transactions and identities, which include certificate and one-time-passwords management services.
One Time Passwords[edit | edit source]
The MobiSecure® Authentication solutions of Diversinet allows customers using PCs, mobile phones and USB flash drives to benefit from the strong One Time Password authentication during online transactions.[4]
Lockbox[edit | edit source]
This application allows users to access personal and critical information anytime and from anywhere securely and easily. The feature also gives secure storage facility for banking information, insurance, usernames/passwords, medical records, wills, etc, with the capability for monitoring financial alerts, bank account balances, and other types of frequently updated information. The built-in fax and e-mail capability allows users to securely send on-demand information that can be accessed from a mobile device/PDA or PC. For enterprises, Diversinet offer MobiSecure SoftToken technology solutions to ensure secure personal financial transactions, identity management and data access.
Mobile Lockbox[edit | edit source]
This is another security platform meant for mobile devices for storing passwords and usernames, personal and banking information, wills and insurance documents and photographs. It also built in faxing and email facilities with encrypted, secured financial transaction alerts.
OEM and Professional Services[edit | edit source]
Diversinet Professional Services offers customized authentication services and support with access solutions available on different platforms like memory cards, PCs, and mobile devices. MobiSecure Publisher was used for PHR solution development for the healthcare sector, allowing access of critical health information to users from their mobile devices. The same concept also enables secure mobile banking, payment transactions, soft token solutions and authentication. The OEM solutions enable MobiSecure software support on USB and MobiSecure Provisioning Server implementation.
