FirstMile Telecom is a company based in Casablanca, Morocco, which specializes in providing wireless technology solutions in Morocco, North Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Arab region. In 2006, FirstMile Telekom joined the Business Incubation Unit for less than one month at the Casablanca Technopark to be able to receive the necessary information and assistance needed by the company to find opportunities for its products and services and to position the company to its target markets.[3]
In 2007, FirstMile Telekom raised 2.5 million MAD ($400,000) for its future development plans in international markets. The company also assembled local hardware at the Casablanca Technopark Wireless Factory.[4]
