Jane Coffin is a U.S. Internet infrastructure and community development expert who worked for over 30 years across public, private, and non‑profit sectors to expand global connectivity. She held leadership roles at the Internet Society, where she co‑led the Community Networks, Internet Exchange Points, and peering initiatives, and guided policy–regulatory change through collaborations with ITU, OECD, UN agencies, and regional registries[1][2].
Earlier, as part of the U.S. NTIA’s Office of International Affairs, she co‑chaired the Federal IPv6 Task Force and engaged with ICANN, IETF, RIRs, and other key Internet governance bodies on IP addressing. From 2022 she served as Chief Community Officer at Connect Humanity, transitioning to Senior Advisor to support global expansion and sustainable network development.
