Rebecca Wanjiku a technology journalist and blogger based in Nairobi. She has worked in print and online media, covering issues in health, environment, human rights, legal and now specializing in technology.
Since June 2011, she has been a freelance journalist with IDG News Service, a technology Newswire. Some also publishes stories on Computerworld, PCWorld, and Infoworld, and shares her personal insights and opinions on her blog.
She has been covering tech meetings such as the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and World Summit on Information Society (WSIS).
She authored a chapter on Citizen Journalism in East Africa as part of a book published by Rhodes University on democracy in Africa. She is also been involved in telecoms policy research under APC.
