Steve Miholovich is the Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Safenames,[1] and the General Manager of its US operations. He has been working with Safenames since 2008,[2] and has over 15 years of Internet marketing, and product management experience.[3]

Steve has been working with the Registrars Constituency for over 7 years.[4]

In a letter dated December 8th, 2011, Steve Miholovich, along with twenty-seven other domain name industry representatives, wrote to Sen. Jay Rockefeller and Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison to support ICANN's new gTLD program, in response to the Senate Hearings taking place on the same day. They supported ICANN's argument that the program would be innovative and economically beneficial and noted that the program took a diverse group of international stakeholders years to develop.[5] The letter can be found here.

Previous Experience[edit | edit source]

Mr. Miholovich was formerly the Director of Product Marketing for Network Solutions; he was responsible for managing domain names and services, secondary market services, and SSL Certificates. He helped develop new products like their Certified Offer Service, the backorder service in partnership with SnapNames, NetSol SSL Certificates; he also co-founded NameJet, a prominent domain name auction space. Prior to joining Network Solutions Steve spent 11 years at MCI; he worked in a number of marketing roles including audio and Internet conferencing services, and internet and e-mail services; he also launched their first Internet service in 1996. Steve started at MCI in 1991.[6]

Steve received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Dickinson College.[7]
