The company was founded in 2000 by Stephen Mathew,[5][6] who was also the publisher of the company until it was bought out by iNET Interactive. iNET interactive purchased the company on May 27, 2011.[7]

The company has started an online TV service known as WHIR TV, which features videos of interviews with representatives of various prominent Internet and web hosting companies, as well as other important individuals.[8][9]
