Jeffrey Bedser is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in investigation, threat intelligence and abuse via the DNS. He founded iThreat and is currently the CEO of CleanDNS, which donates its services to the DNSAI. He has spent decades building technology, services and solutions to understand, prevent and combat DNS Abuse and cybercrime. iThreat was the source of the DAAR program for ICANN.
He currently serves as the Chair of the Public Interest Registry (.org) Board of Directors (Term 2017-2023).

Career History[edit | edit source]
Jeff is the founder and CEO of CleanDNS Inc. For 26 years Jeff ran iThreat Cyber Group Inc, a threat intelligence company. CleanDNS spun off from iThreat in 2021 prior to iThreat's sale. Prior to that Jeff had a career in physical security and investigations starting in 1989,
ICANN and Internet Governance Participation[edit | edit source]
Participating in the ICANN sphere since 2005, Jeff has been on the Security & Stability Advisory Committee since 2007 and has led several work parties for SSAC publications including SAC115 https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/sac-115-en.pdf. He has been the SSAC NomCom representative and the Liaison to the CSC and the ccPDP4 IDN working group. He has participated in and presented at several IGF and APTLD meetings.
