The Asia Pacific School of  Internet Governance (APSIG) is a regional event that helps to create a multistakeholder learning opportunity for Interested students, academics, researchers, and individual professionals from the Academia, Civil Society and [[NGO]]s, Government and Public Sector, Technical Community and Private Sector.  
Academia, Civil Society and NGOs, Government and Public Sector, Technical Community and Private Sector to understand better the global Internet Governance controversy and to get a comprehensive and structured knowledge on the various aspects of Internet Governance.
Organized by National IT Professional Association of Afghanistan (NITPAA) the AfSIG is an annual school covering the political, legal, economic, socio-cultural, technological dimensions of the Internet Governance in regards to the global and Afghanistan’s National necessities.


AfSIG has collaborations with various other Schools on Internet Governance across the world and is working closely with Asia Pacific School on Internet Governance (APSIG)<ref>[https://sites.google.com/site/apsigasia/ Asia Pacific School on Internet Governance]</ref>
Asia Pacific School on Internet Governance (APSIG) intends to serve these 500~1,000 Internet governance leaders and experts in Asia through professional courses on Internet governance and other programs. We expect local and other SIGs and IGFs to serve the 5,00 ~10,000 Internet governance practitioners through their courses.

The main aim of the AfSIG is to help individuals from Afghanistan in order to better understand the national, regional and international Internet Governance issues, settings, and processes, while gaining access to comprehensive and structured knowledge on various aspects of Internet Governance, and the actors, issues and settings surrounding it.
* Asia Pacific School on Internet Governance (APSIG) intends to serve Internet governance experts and leaders in Asia Pacific on their professional upgrades and collaboration. 
The relevant global organizations like APNIC, APTLD, ISOC and ICANN support such initiatives. According to their policy, they are committed to strengthen the understanding of Internet Governance within stakeholder groups.
