Article of the Week

Internet of Things (IoT) is anything that can be given an IP address or unique identifier with the ability to transfer information over a network via cloud computing and data gathering sensors. This data transfer would not require human to human contact and mostly relies on machine to machine (M2M) contact mitigated by sensors.

The CCWG-Accountability released its Draft Proposal on Work Stream 1 Recommendations for Public Comment. Deadline: 21 December 2015.
The DNSSEC workshop at ICANN 55 is seeking live demonstrations of uses for DNSSEC or DANE. Any ideas on the topic are welcome. Deadline to apply: 14 December 2015

.co is the ccTLD for Colombia. .CO Internet SAS manages .co as an open ccTLD. Domain name registration is open to all entities worldwide and it is marketed as a great alternative to the .com domain space.
