Tim Ruiz is the Vice President of Corporate Development & Policy at The Go Daddy Group, Inc., which is the parent company of GoDaddy.com. He is the registered representative of GoDaddy.com within the Registrar's Constituency.[1]
He also represents GoDaddy on the Board of doMEn, a joint venture between Afilias and GoDaddy, which was selected by the Montenegrin government to be the registration agent for .me. Tim previously served as GoDaddy's representative to the Country Code 1 ENUM LLC.[2]
Industry Participation
From 2004 to 2007 Mr. Ruiz served as Vice Chair of ICANN's Registrar Stakeholder Group; he was subsequently appointed as the North American Registrar Stakeholder Group representative on the GNSO Council. His term began at the end of the 2007 ICANN meeting and concludes at ICANN's 2011 annual meeting, in Dakar, Senegal.[3]
He participated at the 2010 .nxt Conference as a panelist for the discussion on "Implementation: Working with Registrars".
He has also worked with the DNSO.[4]
