Simon Cousins (Chinese name: 夏明) is the co-founder and CEO of Allegravita LLC.[1]
As the former CMO of TLD Registry, Simon was responsible for the initial and ongoing branding, marketing, creative direction, and communications strategy for the registry's two Top Level Domain IDNs, Dot Chinese Online (.在线) & Dot Chinese Website (.中文网).
As the co-founder and CEO Allegravita, Simon implements his China expertise into his business model of his boutique PR and strategic communications agency located in New York City, Beijing, and Hong Kong. Simon also has expertise in several other aspects of communications for the China, including branding & identity crisis management, China business development & policy impact, digital marketing and leadership development.

Simon has been a C-level leader in marketing communications, policy and technology enterprises for 23 years. Since then, he has won numerous honors and awards including the 2005 AustCham Beijing Chairman's Award for Most Effective Australian Business Leader, the 2005 AustCham Beijing Chairman's Award for Most Effective Australian Business Leader, AustCham Australian Business Awards 2008 "Most Entrepreneurial Business in China and Hong Kong", and 2009 Advertising Age "Top 25 China Experts". [2]
The marketing team for TLD Registry, formerly led by Simon, won multiple awards for their efforts, including the “Best Marketing by a new gTLD” award, which was presented on November 13, 2014 at the Brandma China new gTLD Roadshow.[3]

During 2014's World Domain Day in Hyderabad, India, Cousins gave an hour long masterclass on how to invest in Chinese domain names without knowing a word of Chinese.[4]
