Peter Koch works for DENIC, the ccTLD registry for DE, as a policy advisor. His interests are Internet Governance, security, standardization, and cross-community interaction. He is also active in RIPE, CENTR, and the IETF. Peter is a former member of the Board of DNS-OARC.

Peter was a member of RSSAC from 2011-2014 as the IETF liaison. The ccNSO has appointed Peter as their representative on RZERC. In 2020 and 2021, Peter was appointed to the Nominating Committee by the IETF..

Peter was a member of the First IANA Function Review Team and will serve as the ccNSO appointed co-chair of the Second IANA Function Review Team.

Involvement in Internet Governance
