ARGENSIG is the first Internet Governance school in Argentina, training young leaders on issues related to the Internet and its global and local development.

Goals[edit | edit source]

The main objective of ARGENSIG is to train future Internet Governance leaders in Argentina from a global perspective with a regional and national focus.

Organization[edit | edit source]

ARGENSIG is organized by CCAT LAT and the Escuela del Sur de Gobernanza de Internet (SSIG) with the support of the National Communications Regulator ENACOM and the contribution of the ISOC Argentina Chapter.

ARGENSIG is open to the community and offers scholarships to all its participants, including hotel scholarships for those who do not live in Buenos Aires.

Editions[edit | edit source]

The first edition was held in Buenos Aires on August 29-31, 2017, at the Manuel Belgrano Auditorium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the City of Buenos Aires. In the first edition of ARGENSIG, more than 40 experts from Latin America and 120 scholars from across the country have been convened to attend the event, as it maintains a federal and inclusive event at its core. The event also featured an extensive program of activities and remote access. It was organized by Olga Cavalli, Adrian Carballo and Oscar Messano.

The second edition was held on October 1-3, 2018.
