Aislan Vargas Basilio is a Brazilian lawyer who has worked for Portal R7 at Rede Record since September 2009, where he offers legal consulting on national and international issues of copyrights, licenses, partnerships, terms of use, and many other issues related to new technology law.[1]
He was formerly the Director of the Initiative in Brazil at ColorIURIS A.I.E., and the Director and co-Founder of AGEIA DENSI Brasil.[1] AGEIA DENSI has been one of ICANN's At-Large Structures since 2005.[2] Mr.Basilio's work with ColorIURIS A.I.E entails his management of the legal-information technology tool of self-management of copyrights on the Internet.
Prior to these positions Basilio gained a variety of legal experience through multiple law firms and practices; including work with civil, commercial, labor, administrative, banking, corporate, tax, and criminal litigation.[1]
