Centro de Capacitación en Alta Tecnología para Latinoamérica y el Caribe (CCATLAT) is a non-profit training center founded in 1987 that delivers ICT and Internet Governance programs across Latin America and the Caribbean.[1] The organization has operated Cisco Networking Academy courses and maintains an active base in Montevideo, Uruguay.[2] CCATLAT has also partnered with regional and international institutions, including co-organizing the South School on Internet Governance.[3] Its founder and long-time leader is Oscar Messano.[4] CCATLAT has been listed within ITU’s Centers of Excellence framework in the Americas.[5]
