Christa Taylor is the Co-Founder of TLDz, a strategic consultancy dedicated to helping organizations unlock the full potential of their Top-Level Domains (TLDs). With over two decades of experience in the domain name industry, she is widely recognized for her expertise in digital strategy, marketing, financial modeling, daily operations of TLDs.
At TLDz, Christa works with dotBrand, open, restricted and geographic TLD holders to develop and implement data-driven strategies for success. Her work includes strategic planning, marketing, pricing optimization, ICANN applications, and the development of proprietary tools such as the TLD Power Score (TPS) in the Zen Report to predict a TLD's potential performance.
Prior to founding TLDz, Christa served as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at MMX (Minds + Machines), a publicly traded registry operator with a diverse portfolio of new gTLDs including .law, .fit, .vip, .miami, .luxe (blockchain), .yoga, .beer, and more. At MMX, she led global marketing strategies, brand development, and go-to-market initiatives across a diverse set of digital assets. There, she led global marketing, brand development, and go-to-market strategies that significantly expanded the reach and adoption of MMX’s TLDs, premium name pricing, and registration volumes.
She is also the founder of Dot TBA, a consultancy established in 2012 to new gTLD applicants. Her services through Dot TBA helped over 50 TLD applications with a 100% succeess rate in the 2012 round - guiding clients through business plans, financial modeling, launch, premium domain strrategy, and ICANN-related procedures including clarifying questions and contention sets.[1]
Christa has been active in the domain name industry since 2000 and previously served as President and CEO of Poker.com Inc., a publicly traded company. She brings a rare blend of analytical expertise and hands-on operational experience to her work. Over the years, she has consistently contributed to the industry through thought leadership, frequent speaking engagements, and in-depth whitepapers. As a co-creator of TLD Class®, a flagship program at TLDz, Christa helps clients unlock the strategic value of TLDs—from concept development and ICANN application preparation to successful launch and ongoing operations.
She holds multiple advanced degrees and certifications, including:
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in eCommerce
- Master of Science in Predictive Analytics (MSPA)
- Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E).[2]
