David Howell has been the director of Business Development at CitizenHawk since 2009. He is integral to their work with online brand protection; they have filed more UDRPs than any other company in the world and have reclaimed over 15,000 domains.

Mr. Howell has been working in the field of brand protection for over 10 years, and due to this has been attending ICANN, INTA, and other related conferences.[1]

Personal Statement

With over 10 years of experience in the service delivery and the development of online Brand Protection and Reputation Management for fortune 1000 companies and medium size business. I have consulted such brands as Apple and Wal-Mart for enforcement strategies and collaboration with cross function teams such as legal and marketing. The methodologies used and approach designed, includes protecting the brand online through various cost effective means to get timely, actionable results, with an eye on maximizing the value for the brand. In addition, my focus is on converting assets from brand infringement companies and correctly redirecting interest to the proper brand. In summation, I strive to bring a strong reputation for business acumen needed to grow and attain a dominant market positions.

I have worked primarily with global fortune 1000 companies to help protect intellectual property, trademarks and corporate domain names within ASP solutions. I have a wealth of experience in both service delivery and business development at emerging organizations. In the past,, I enjoyed my service as US Regional Manager at MarkMonitor; a leading provider of corporate identity management for Global 1000 corporations.

During my tenure at MarkMonitor, I played a key sales and management role as helping the company grow from a simple domain registration company to a global leader in domain portfolio management, brand monitoring, trademark management and fraud/phishing protection. Prior to MarkMonitor, I worked with Cyberhighway, and Angel Investments where I served in senior executive roles; during my tenure with Cyberhighway, I contributed to the multi-million dollar sale of the company to Usurf America.
