Sandra Hoferichter, is the Secretary General of EuroDIG, the European Dialogue on Internet Governance;.She is also the organiser of the European Summer School on Internet Governance (EuroSSIG), ICANN Studienkreis. or Experts meetings on the Internet of Things.
In 2010 Sandra was elected as one European representative to ICANN’s At Large Advisory Committee (ALAC ) and served on it until November 2016. Since November 2016 she is representing the ALAC at ICANN’s Nomination Committee (NomCom).
Sandra s self-employed and holds a degree in Architecture from the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK).
She became involved in the Internet Governance process in 2006 via her work as the project manager of Medienstadt Leipzig e.V., which is a German not for profit organization and recognized At-Large Structure. In July, 2006, she attended the ICA-IAMCR Expert Meeting in Rathen, Germany; this led to the establishment of GIGANET, The Global Internet Governance Academic Network, and also helped establish the Summer Schools in Internet Governance.
