In 2002, CEO and founder of Datacenter Luxembourg, Xavier Buck, founded EuroDNS as a subsidiary of Datacenter Luxembourg [4]. Founded in the beginning of .eu era, EuroDNS started up as a domain register company supports to this particular region and eventually extended its horizon.
2006 EuroDNS focused on setting up two new registration services: asiadnswhich specialized in the asian ccTLDs and enumdnswhich specialized in ENUM registration services. [5]
In 2008 EuroDNS was announced to be the first ICANN-accredited Registrar to sign up to distribute the new communications-focused .tel top level domain (TLD). [6].
In June 2010, EuroDNS and Open-source email and collaboration software provider Open-Xchange webmail announced an agreement to provide Open-Xchange webmail service to more than 250,000 EuroDNS customers at no additional charge.[7]
