Darlene Thompson is currently the Secretary of NARALO. She is an Affiliate Marketing Specialist at Wealthy Affiliate. Before that, she was the Secretary/Treasurer of N-CAP, a non-profit company that represents telecentres in Canada's far northern territory of Nunavut, and the Community Access Program Administrator for the Nunavut Department of Education. As the latter, she administered all funding for the local telecentres and led many IT-related areas and projects.

- On April 20, the cybersecurity authorities of the United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom released a joint Cybersecurity Advisory, reiterating that critical infrastructure network defenders should prepare for and mitigate potential cyber threats such as malware, ransomware, DDoS Attacks, and cyber espionage, by hardening their cyber defenses and performing due diligence in identifying indicators of malicious activity.

- The 2022 LAC Domain Names Week, a virtual conference for those interested in the domain name ecosystem of Latin America and the Caribbean, is running from Tuesday-Thursday, April 26-28. Registration is open.
