It was a non-profit Australian entity established in 2004 by the administrators of several small ccTLDs in the Asia Pacific region. The Council of Country Code Administrators Limited was de-registered in Australia in 2009.
CoCCA Registry Services (NZ) Limited was incorporated in 2009 as an internet infrastructure company to support the former members of the non-profit entity.
