Welcome to ICANNWiki, a project to create a free, complete, up-to-date, and reliable guide to the world of ICANN. It is intended for use by people attending ICANN conferences as well as those following what's happening from afar. So far we have 8,705 articles written and, of course, have plenty more to do!

Abdulaziz Al-Zoman

Dr. Abdulaziz AL-Zoman is an associate professor who works for CITC as an IT Consultant, and is the director and founder of the Saudi Network Information Center. SaudiNIC is responsible of registering domain names under the Saudi ccTLD, .sa and IDN ccTLD, .السعودية. In 1986, he received his bachelor degree in computer engineering from the College of Computer and Information Science, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science in 1990 and 1995, respectively, from the University of New Brunswick, Canada. Dr. Al-Zoman attends and presents at industry conferences, such as those associated with the IGF. He is an expert on IDNs and has worked extensively to implement arabic based TLDs. A list of some his presentations at Industry conferences is found below.
