- On February 13, ICANN announced that accredited registrars will be permitted to temporarily forbear from canceling domain registrations unable to be renewed by registrants affected by the earthquakes in the Republic of Türkiye and Syrian Arab Republic, who are experiencing an extenuating circumstance under Section 3.7.5.1 of the 2013 Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA).
- ICANN 76 will be held from 11 to 16 March 2023 as a hybrid event with both in-person and virtual participation.
- The application rounds are open for the NextGen@ICANN Program and ICANN's Community Childcare Grants Pilot Program for ICANN 77, which will take place from June 12 to 15 in Washington, DC.
- The APAC DNS Forum 2023 is slated to take place from 4 July to 5 July 2023 in Hong Kong.
