Esteban Lescano is "Lescano & Etcheverry Abogados" founder, a TIC law firm in Argentina located in Buenos Aires. The firm focuses on legal and regulatory advice for Internet Service Providers and Telecommunications and Media companies.[1] He is also a lecturer at UBA (University of Buenos Aires) and an associate lecturer at UDESA (University of San Andres). His research field is Internet policy and regulations for new media and telecommunications services. He is Legal and Public Policy Director at CABASE (Internet Association in Argentina).

His first ICANN meeting was in Buenos Aires 48, and has been an ICANN Fellow at ICANN 56 in Helsinki, ICANN 54 in Dublin, and ICANN 51 in Los Angeles. He was a Coach for many Latin American and Caribean fellows and also a Community Mentor in ICANN 58, ICANN 59 and ICANN 60.

At the regional level, he has attended several LACNIC meetings and he was a CRISP team member representing LAC community, during IANA oversight transition process.

In Argentina, he is a member of the Argentine IGF agenda committee since 2016, representing the private sector.

He attended the  Euro-SSIG in 2015 and the South School on Internet Governance in 2016. He also participates in the Internet Diplomacy program organized by ICANN and the USC Annenberg School for Communications and Journalism in 2016.

He is involved with ISPCP (Internet Services Providers and Connectivity Providers) inside the Commercial Stakeholder Group at the GNSO (Generic Names Supporting Organization) and is on the ASO Address Council.
