Achievements

Elaine Pruis has previously held senior positions at CoCCA, MMX and Donuts. Most recently, she was the Vice President, Operations at Donuts.[1] She is well-known for her time at Minds + Machines, a company she co-founded with Antony Van Couvering, and where she held various executive roles, including Chief of Registry Operations, CTO, and Vice President of Client Services.[2] She left Minds + Machines for Donuts in March 2013, immediately prior to the scheduled approval of the first new gTLDs.

In February 2018, Pruis was appointed as a UASG Ambassador, a position created to spread awareness about UA and EAI among developers and CIOs.

She is also an avid rock climber, and successfully climbed an 11.d in the summer of 2010.[3]

She completed her B.S. from Michigan Technological University in 1995. [4]

Career History[edit | edit source]

Prius is a Founder of Minds + Machines. She also has been a Liaison at Council of Country Code Administrators, CoCCA, since 2001.

In the past, Elaine Pruis has worked as a Field Representative at US Bureau of Justice Statistics (1999-2001);[5] and as a Research Manager at Bavendam Research Associates (1995-1997).
