'''[[Don Moody]]''' is an attorney with over 20 years experience in the technology industry, advising companies on intellectual property, financial regulation, data privacy and other legal topics.  Among other roles, Don served as lead Internet counsel for Skype from 2005-2012, and was on the "front lines" of the peer-to-peer music copyright wars in the early 2000s, having represented both Kazaa and BitTorrent for various IP matters.  Don has had extensive involvement with domain name and Internet Governance issues, including with ICANN on various committees, such as its [[Intellectual Property Constituency]] (IPC).

Currently, Don represents and counsels financial technology (FinTech) companies - with particular emphasis on virtual currencies (such as Bitcoin or Ethereum) and other "blockchain"-based technologies - on topics such as financial privacy and consumer protection. He is also involved with a number of cryptocurrency development projects and industry groups, including the Bitcoin Foundation.

ICANNWiki is a not-for-profit organization, independent of ICANN, which supports the collaborative development of articles about ICANN and Internet Governance-related topics. It currently features 8,709 entries, aiming to provide neutral information that takes all perspectives into consideration. Want to help? Request an account today! Any donations made to us are used only to maintain this platform.

Where to Start

Getting started is as simple as requesting an account, which will be approved shotly if it does not appear to be intended for spam or malice. Make sure to read our quick content guide to get a feel for what belongs in the wiki. You may also want to have a look at some data source suggestions. That's it, happy editing!

Current Focus

Our focus this season is: ccTLDs. Our community is working together on surfacing information about these stakeholders, including going over documents, blog posts, Working Groups (including the already great article on Working Groups!), and all other relevant information.
