The ICANN [[Nominating Committee]] (NomCom) is in charge of selecting all [[ICANN]] officers except the Director and positions selected by other [[Supporting Organizations]] and [[Advisory Committee]]s, as set forth by [[ICANN Bylaws|ICANN's Bylaws]]. The NomCom is designed to operate independently from the [[ICANN Board]], the Supporting Organizations, and Advisory Committees, and members of the NomCom are to act purely on behalf of the interests of the global Internet community as a whole. [[NETmundial]] (Alternatively, the Global Multistakeholder Meeting on the Future of Internet Governance) was a two-day global meeting on the topic of [[Internet governance]], attended by a group of stakeholders including government officials, representatives of global Internet organizations, civil society, and academia. The meeting took place in São Paulo, Brazil between 23-24 April 2014. It was hosted by the Brazilian government in the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Current Focus

Our focus this season is: ccTLDs. Our community is working together on surfacing information about these stakeholders, including going over documents, blog posts, Working Groups (including the already great article on Working Groups!), and all other relevant information.
