Welcome to ICANNWiki, a project to create a free, complete, up-to-date, and reliable guide to the world of ICANN. It is intended for use by people attending ICANN conferences as well as those following what's happening from afar. So far we have 8,390 articles written and, of course, have plenty more to do!

Xavier Buck is the Founder, Executive Director, and CEO of the DCL Group. The group is the umbrella organization of EuroDNS, voipGATE, and the Datacenter Luxembourg; he acts as the Director of all those organizations. He also founded AsiaDNS. Xavier Buck is also the Director of DomainTools, and the Chairman of eBrandServices. Mr. Buck is also the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Domain Invest SA, which he founded in 2008. They own over 100,000 premium domains that bring in advertisement revenue, and the company has quickly become a leader in domain investment. It has received a number of high-profile financing rounds from investment firms. Mr. Buck has been involved in entrepenurial Internet projects since 1993. He founded Datacenter Luxembourg in 2000, and EuroDNS in 2002. eNom

In May 2006, eNom was acquired by Demand Media, and in 2007 eNom acquired BulkRegister. It rose to become the second largest registrar following its acquisition of BulkRegister, although it continues to be run as a separate service. eNom has a portfolio of vertical web properties that reach more than 100 million monthly visitors. Paul Stahura founded the company in 1997, it initially was run out of his garage using a single computer with an ISDN line. In 2007, eNom became the second largest domain registrar in the world, with over 8 million registered domain names in 70 different domain extensions. eNom's resellers are mostly web hosting and web development companies that use eNom's application programming interface (API) to buy and sell domain names on their own web sites, or eNom's hosted reseller solution—a customer retail website branded as the reseller's but hosted by eNom. Their back-end systems can handle about 2 billion DNS queries a day, and maintains its name server constellation across six datacenters around the world.
