[[At-Large Structure]]s (ALSes) are independent and self-supporting organizations within [[ICANN]]'s At-Large Community, which aim to represent the voice of individual Internet users all over the world. ALSes provide an avenue for every Individual Internet user to take part in all the issues discussed within ICANN.

[[Ombudsman]] is a term given to someone who is in charge of neutrally handling and replying to all the complaints about a particular organization. The '''current ombudsman''' for [[ICANN]] is [[Chris LaHatte]]; he assumed this position in July, 2011. Responsibilities of the [[ICANN]] ombudsman include dispute resolution, filing complaints and taking actions in response to ICANN staff, board or supporting organization decisions. ICANN is required to have a fair and impartial ombudsman. The Ombudsman can only be removed by a three-fourths vote of the entire board.

The [[At-Large Advisory Committee]] (ALAC) is responsible for evaluating, processing and certifying the applications of any group that are interested to become an At-Large Structures after the criteria set forth by ICANN for ALSes is met. At present, there are 153 ALSes worldwide.
