Ken Bour is a former consultant for ICANN, where he worked from 2008 through 2017. Over the course of his career, he became a senior executive and had 45 years of experience in all aspects of corporate management, financial accounting/administration, infrastructure/operations, customer service, I/T, software development, and HR/benefits. He sold his company Netvantage in October 2007 to a private equity firm and completed a successful executive transition through July 2008. After 12 years as President/CEO of a software company, he started KBPraxis LLC, a management consulting firm. In August 2008, he became a full-time consultant with ICANN, helping them with a large-scale process re-engineering and organizational change initiative involving the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO). His specialties include executive management, organizational design/development, program/project management, and process reengineering.

- NamesCon is happening from August 31 to September 3, 2022, in Austin, TX.
- On August 11, the 2022 Nominating Committee announced its selections for:
- the ICANN Board (Maarten Botterman, Christopher Chapman, Sajidur Rahman);
- the Public Technical Identifiers Board of Directors (Tobias Sattler);
- the At-Large Advisory Committee (Eduardo Díaz, Tommi Karttaavi);
- the Country Code Names Supporting Organization Council (Olga Cavalli); and
- the Generic Names Supporting Organization Council (Anne Aikman-Scalese).
- Those selected will begin their terms at the conclusion of ICANN 75.
